Our Basquiat necklace is made of pure tin, colored in either black or gold. It features a 24 inch long chain and a 3 inch pendant piece that displays Jean-Michel Basquiat, a street artist from Brooklyn, New York, who later received worldwide recognition as a politically critical neo-expressionist.
The pins are shaped like the three-point Basquiat crown, a symbol Jean-Michel used to express his ambition and understanding of art history as well as the declaration of hierarchies in New York's graffiti movement. Each pin is made of pure tin, colored in black or gold and marked by a vibrant red colored surface. All pieces are hand-made in the United States with exceptional detailing and are branded with the BBP Logo.
